Pat Ward (drums & vocals) was born in San Francisco, reared on the Peninsula. He started playing piano at 5, then acoustic guitar at 12 with the St. Dunstan Church Folk Mass Group. The world of folk rock opened up before him. At 15, his percussion career began at Serra High School, San Mateo…first glockenspiel; followed by bass drum, tympani, bells, chimes, snare drum, cymbals, timp-toms; then the almighty trap kit! Pat has played in numerous rock n' roll bands in the Bay Area over the last 4 decades, including Dreamer, The Transporter Band, Top Banana, & High Above All. He owns and operates Sir Reel Recording Studio in Belmont, CA, where numerous local artists have recorded over the last 30 years, including his own “in-house” projects involving family (Daughter Sarah-clarinet, percussion, vocals) & friends. Pat enjoys classical, jazz, all forms of rock, soul, R&B, edm, and current pop music - especially watching live acts outdoors. He collects, builds, maintains, and modifies hi-fi & pro-audio recording / playback equipment. An avid 49er's fan, he enjoys good bbq and fine California wines with his family & friends.
